Even if we don’t understand everything, the petroglyphs are an indication of what people cared about. We can deduce that there was a common language, stories, myths and religion.

 

The petroglyphs on the table are from the Bardal site in Beitstad. The site has a layered selection of stories, with motifs from the Stone Age, the Bronze Age and the Iron Age.

 

The motifs on the wall are taken from various sites at Tessem, where all petroglyphs are from the Bronze Age.
